Carole has been performing strong in venues across the midwest, for the better part of three decades. Originally from Cincy Ohio where she cut her teeth in performing with great regional success alongside her brother Chris Walker in their band “Heavy Weather” has now called Columbus,OH her home since 2003.
Carole quickly became a staple on the Columbus singer/songwriter stages and has performed at many local and national musical festivals, notably SXSW, International FolkAlliance, and MidPoint Music Festival. Carole was recognized as the 2016 Emerging Artist of the National Women’s Music Festival and as the runner-up CSA 2015 Showcase Finale.
As a solo performer she has been an opening act for Don McLean, Melissa Ferrick and Judy Collins. In addition to performing Carole has worked with “Girls Rock Camp '' in their songwriter workshops. She was also the host of the Sam Ash Music weekly Open Mic and created the Sam Ash Singer/Songwriter Monthly Spotlight.
Friends of Chris Walker is a Non-profit that Carole started to honor the memory and musicianship of her brother Chris. In the past it has provided instruments and books to “Girls Rock Camp” along with donating gifts and services to causes in his name.
