Formed in 2018 by singer-songwriters Carole Walker and Alan Mauger, The Bittertones are an indie rock and eclectic soul duo who turn raw emotion, hard truths, and human connection into music that moves both body and soul.

Their sound lives somewhere between the grit of Alabama Shakes, the fearless vulnerability of Ani DiFranco, the sensuality of Sade, and the atmospheric edge of Jeff Buckley—but ultimately, The Bittertones sound like nobody else. Their music is soulful, unpredictable, groove-heavy, and deeply human.
