This past weekend, The Bittertones had the absolute pleasure of playing once again at Trail Town Brewery in beautiful Yellow Springs, Ohio. It marked our third time sharing the stage there with two of our dearest friends and long-time musical mentors, Danny Sauers and the incredible Sharon Lane. Every visit feels like a reunion of family, and this time was no different.
Playing with Danny and Sharon always brings back memories of our days together in Heavy Weather—a band that helped shape who we are musically and personally. They’ve been an integral part of our journey, teaching us not only about the craft of music but about heart, soul, and the joy of collaboration.
Trail Town Brewery is one of those rare places that perfectly blends good vibes, great people, and a deep love for live music. The energy from the crowd was electric, and the connection we felt—on stage and off—was unforgettable. It’s these moments, playing music with people we love and respect, that remind us why we do this.
